Ryan commented on the new episodes and stated that we'll see the first 8 episodes in January 09 almost a full year after season 5. Ryan considers it season 6 and not an extension to season 5. It will have a new theme and a new tone.
Love this comment from Ryan:

ReplyDeleteI've been watching FX everyday to see if there are any previews for this season. I can't believe they are making us wait till January. It's just killing me. Maybe they will have a change of heart and start it sooner. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
ReplyDeleteMAYBE is has something do with greed. I can not believe this is the last season. This is how all good shows come to and end aka seinfeld. Somebody wants more money, but I mean at a minimum 1 million an episode come on. They should make a contract for at least another 2 seasons and give them more money, it is totally worth it. The best show on TV by far. FX has all the best shows anymore. The only shows I watch off of FX are rerun seinfelds and HOUSE m.d. which is a good show. Right nwo I am watching the final season of the shield so nip tuck has to stay on longer. Rescue is pretty good too. Not a big fan of sons of anarchy or reno 911.

I thought it was over... I see that the actress thats plays Eden is on that new 90210 spin off, and I think that crazy lady that was shawns agent is the mom on Burn notice......what's up with that.

ReplyDeleteI know ,,, Jan. seem so far away but this delay is supposed because of the writer's strike. At least that's what Denis Leary said about the delay of Rescue Me which starts in MARCH 2009!!!

I read that the last season will be in 2011. Good things come to those who wait. Similiar to HBO's OZ, Nip/Tuck stays away for a period of time to grasp our interest as well as manipulates up to purchase seasons 1-5. With that said, I'm okay with purchasing the seasons on DVD, but want a quality show in 2009 and beyond. I think season 5 was a dissapointment, but will continue to watch and be a fan. I very much enjoy watching Nip/Tuck, not for the sex, but for the psychological story line.

ReplyDeleteI LOVE this show. We have no choice but to wait until January. It is not the end of the world. At least it is coming back on. By than all this President stuff will be over and the holidays and we can really have something intriguing to look forward to.

ReplyDeleteIt's a GREAT show! If the scripts and performances are going to be as stellar as they have in the past, then it will be well worth the wait. Everyone knows what happens when you rush to get something done. It ends up being half-assed or just plain bad! I'd hate to see that happen with this AMAZING show. Have a little patience people!!!

Someone PLEASE tell me this is not going to be the last season of my favorite show ever!!! I AM DYING!!!! And if they think they can get rid of Christian and keep the show going, they are mistaken!
ReplyDeleteChristian does NOT have 6 months to live! If you remember correctly-- there was an episode that took place in the future 20 years from now and Christian was VERY much alive! and Matt was a doctor!
ReplyDeleteThe future episode was just a vision and not reality folks. Sean is made mention that he had a dream about the two of them and that Christian had two women by his side. He even mentioned that Julia wasnt with either one of them.
ReplyDeleteNip/Tuck doesnt always have a happy ending so don't convince yourself that Christian is automatically going to live. ;)

ReplyDeletethe reason the seasons were delayed was due to the writers strike for those of you who don't live in la la land like me :) it affected EVERYTHING!! and now SAG is renegotiating contracts and causing more issues for the shows we all love. sit tight. you may have to wait a while.......
