Season 6 - First 8 Episode in January 09

Ryan commented on the new episodes and stated that we'll see the first 8 episodes in January 09 almost a full year after season 5. Ryan considers it season 6 and not an extension to season 5. It will have a new theme and a new tone.

"Eden does love Sean. And she will do ANYTHING to stop him from getting close to other women he loves, ala Julia."

Ryan Murphy Season 5 Answers!

Ryan Murphy posted to a recent discussion board the following:

1) the stabbing was not a dream sequence. We did that trick with Christian's funeral, and shant be doing it again.

2) Olivia did not hypnotize Julia, but I laughed when I read that and thought it was clever. But no.

3) I will not tell who dies and who lives because it's a plot point in the first episode back, which we are currently writing.

Nip/Tuck Season 6 Rumors

According to eonline, "sources say a teenage doctor named Raj infiltrates the boys' practice and sticks around for quite some time!"

Also included is a rumor about our favorite psychotic, Colleen Rose (played by Sharon Gless) who will be back along with her poor sister (???). There's another rumor about someone having breast cancer!

Nip/Tuck Season 6 in Production

According to the HollywoodReporter, Julian McMahon is back in production of the new season. I've heard rumors that the season could start during the summer but also could start in the fall. Time will tell.

Nip/Tuck is back!

Well, at least for one episode! Last week wasnt bad but I wasnt ready to get back on the bandwagon. This week was all about the characters. Gina was back and had a significant role. Sean looks like he finally got his stuff together and is taking control. Christian was well... Christian.

Then we're left with this ending!!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! If you didnt see this episode, watch it.

My thoughts on the Nip/Tuck Season 5...

I know I have been quiet the past couple of weeks. Outside of Matt almost getting into gay porn, I havent been impressed with the episodes. Plastic Fantastic was a joke. There's a reason why we watch Nip/Tuck, we're sick and tired of reality TV and then the writer's go ahead and do it... What are they thinking?!?

I'm tired of Julia. Why is she still on the west coast? Why isnt she going back to NY? Why doesnt she care about Connor? Where the heck has Wilbur been and what happened to Annie? What happened to the Matt and Kimber's baby? I am starting to think this show is a tribute to child neglect.

The show used to be about the patients and the connection that Sean and Christian had with them. There hasnt been any connection with the patients coming in and out this year outside of Rosie who they already had a storyline for. I was expecting the last episode to feature a confrontation regarding the male escort service that Christian has gotten himself into. I guess he dropped it after the woman almost died but again, we're left with nothing. Poor writing....

This season is all over the map and while it is funnier, I am not watching the show for humor. These guys arent comedians. I want to see them get in and out of trouble... drama. In previous seasons we would have seen Sean go to town on Eden, not just a little kiss. Why would he risk it for that??? Go all the way or dont do anything. Sean almost put Kate in contraction imagining her as Eden, the schoolgirl. Then when he gets his chance, he gives a peck? Doesnt make sense to me.

The previews for next week look great. I am looking forward to Julia and Ollie's attack. I hope for the worst as bad as that sounds. Julia's way too emotional and even says in the preview to "kill us already." Who says that when you're friend/lover/companion is standing next to you? I would have said "speak for yourself..." Tell me what you think should happen with Julia's character. I've added a poll to the site. Do you think she should get back together with Sean? Maybe Christian? Should she stay with Ollie? The Return of Dawn Budge!

Rosie returns to Nip/Tuck and I have to admit that there was a huge sense of comedy in this episode. The opening scene is what that leaves you thinking... "What will they think of next?" Rosie is on a hang-gliding adventure when an eagle squawks at her and then attacks her in mid-flight! Rosie is left with a new sense of freedom and feels envigorated about life...enough to join the space program! Well, Rosie's face needs some work thanks to the unfriendly eagle and she returns to her favorite plastic surgeons while hoping to get behind the scenes of Hearts n' Scalpels.

Just when you think it cant get any crazier... an ass bandit is on the loose! You heard me.... some sick bastard is posing as a doctor and visiting patients during off hours to collect a stool sample. The ass bandit hits Rosie after she comes out of surgery and is resting peacefully during recovery... By the way, the boys had to sew her mouth shut for a while! :)

The ass bandit, also known as the "fudge finder" seems a bit weird at first and tells Rosie that they need to test for the bird flu. She turns over as the "doctor" lubes his fingers. As Rosie tells the story, Sean and Christian dismiss her as a side effect of being under. However, Liz has heard the story of this ass bandit and thinks that it was definitely an attack!

In an effort to smooth things over with Dawn Budge, Sean takes her behind the scenes of the show but again bad luck strikes and Dawn Budge is hit by a falling fixture and knocked out senseless. Freddy is the first one on the scene and is the first person Rosie sees when she comes to. Her heart melts and we have our new couple... but not before Freddy gets an ass lift per Dawn's request. Cue the music and the surgery and later.... the ass bandit strikes again! Poor Freddy....

Annie returns for this episode and of course drives Sean nuts. Eden has her convinced that she's fat and that her ass is sporting the weight. If you're not getting the theme here, it was an ass show! LOL...

Sean is a bit torn on how to deal with Eden and goes to Julia and Ollie but that was just a frustrating exercise. Sean is left with no choice but to deal with the issue confronting Eden at her room. Eden takes advantage of the situation trying to play on Sean's anger by removing her clothes and telling him that he has to be tired of his fatty (Kate) at home. She even goes so far as to say that Kate probably doesnt swallow and that she does. It gets worse but I'll leave the rest to your imagination.

Sean passes on the opportunity but cant help but wonder if he should act on his urges. 50% of the people in the blog poll say he should... Sean envisions himself sitting there in his office as the alter ego, the one who does go ahead and sleep with Eden. His alter ego is left grubby, jobless, and distraught. Sean snaps back to reality and sees Kate walk into his office and eventually proposes to Kate! WTF?!?!?! Sean, go enjoy LA!

If all this wasn't enough, I'd be remiss if I didnt mention Christian's latest sexual escapade. His new job moonlighting as a male gigolo is taking on new heights. Just picture a frozen and lifeless body requiring sex in order to be revived... You gotta see it to believe it.

Let's see... what else.... Christian flirts with a nun needing a boob reduction and Annie gets expelled... yeah, that covers it! LOL.... Can't wait to see what the Fudge Finder is up to next week!

Thoughts about Season 5

We're a few episodes into this season and I cant help myself but wonder what happened to the personal relationships that the guys used to have with the patients? I was watching some older episodes and just noticed that a lot has been lost this season from a personal aspect. The characters are still here and have their issues. However, there is a disconnect somewhere as this season feels more like a soap that way the main characters interact and hurt each other on a regular basis. I think an important aspect of the old episodes was that cosmetic surgery doesnt heal you or fix your insides. That feeling is lost this year.

I know it is more interesting to have characters fighting and causing drama but at some point you have to change the channel because it gets old. I am personally tired of Julia and find myself distracted when she makes her episode appearances. I liked the change with Sean and Christian and really think that gave the season a fresh outlook but we're only a few episodes from the premiere and you can feel things starting to shift back to their old ways. Poor Sean ran away from his family and his business just to get away and now everything has followed him.

Message to Sean: Kick Julia to the curb and go enjoy the west coast! Please!
